Firstly congratulations on your baby.....you must be so excited....and what rotton news to get while your pregnant...heres the thing...and im passing on info i got from my cardiologist...your heart is a small muscle, but the biggest one in your body and very very strong...stong enough to pump blood all around the world many times...and if wee bits of it dont work...well other bits compensate..i have heart failure....and had a heart attack..and like you my daughter was diagnosed while she was pregnant with her first child as having svt and other heart relateded problems...she was put on beta blockers during the pregnancy with seemingly increased the birthweight of her son....but she went on to have 2 more kids..shes 31 now and just has to remember to take her meds..look after herself and remember shes a mommy and wants to be around for a long long time to watch her kids grow...keep your spirits up and take care....hugs..
