Married previously to an abuser. Happily married to someone else now for 26 years. 3 children (2 alive) My eldest son was killed three and a half years ago in a head-on collision which was the fault of the oncoming driver. Shortly after that my mom suffered a stroke and has developed Alzheimers. My father died 18 months ago and we had to put my mom in a nursing home.
I like old things, digital art and photography, dogs, my job is not too bad.

My son was killed in a motor accident - the oncoming vehicle overtook where it was prohibited and hit my son's vehicle head-on. Three and a half years ago.
Mum sustained brain injury due to stroke. Her language centre in the brain was badly affected, so she finds it extremely difficult to express herself. Beacause of this it is difficult to assess her stage of AZ. She has been in a nursing home for 18 months and seems to have adjusted. We try to visit her every second day. My sister visits her on alternating days.
My husband has been suffering from psoriasis for many years. The ointment he is using is no longer effective.
I have an (abnormal?) fear for travelling, especially by car. I drive my husband insane. I will often sit with my eyes closed just so that I do not see what happens in the traffic around us because if I look, I react with 'Look out!'or 'Be careful!' .. things like that and I make my husband nervous when I do that. Except for one short trip, I also have not driven in two years.
