We gave birth to our 4th (my 3rd) in july 06 he was a month early he has a cleft palate and isnt growing he has been in the picu five times now its very hard he just got into 3-6 month clothes and he is almost 9 months

i was daddys girl and in 1996 i had to make the desision with my mom to take my dad off the machines and let him go its been almost 11 years and i miss him so much he missed my wedding and all three of my kids births i love my dad so much and miss him i also lost a best friend named daniel and his mom which was my moms best friend and his 2 sisters and their dog to a drunk driver he killed 4 and got 7 years we named our youngest after daniel i know they are watching over us

when i was 11 my back was hurting so bad all the time doing anything hurt so much my mom took me to the doc and said you have severe scoliosis and you have to wear thise horrible big bulky uncomfy brace after a year got worse instead of better so i quit wearing it and we lost our major insurance so couldnt do the surgery (we made like 10 dollars to much for state medical) now i live in pain everyday

Open Cleft Lip / Palate

on july 12 2006 i went and had my c section and they pulled him put and said call the specailist and wouldnt say anything to me she came in and about 20 mins later she came over and said he has a cleft palate i said okay fix it they said we cant just fix it so he couldnt suck the nipple so they gave us a habberman feder and that worked great he asperates his formula and get fluid and infections in his lungs he is 9 months just got into 3-6 month clothes he has been in the hosp 5 times now
