Doing much better, thank you!
I'm in my early 40s. I am married and have no other children, due to health issues. I work out of my home, while my husband is, at the moment, on disability. Hopefully he will be well enough to go back to work soon. Things are rather tight ( I don't know why .. lol) ... I am also a college student working toward my associates degree in business administration. I enjoy reading, cooking, traveling (when there's time), and music. I found out about DailyStrength just by doing a live search on the internet, so I decided to find out more about this place.

I am a birthmom who placed her child for adoption (with the promises of an open relationship throughout her life) when she was five days old. Eventually, the adoptive parents (particularly the adoptive mother) decided not to keep their promise, thus, I haven't seen them in more than 3 years. I am in search of support from other birth moms who have done this and have, or currently are, experiencing the pain of being cut off from face-to-face contact with her child. Hopefully I can be of some support to them as well.
I was diagnosed with bpd a few years ago. I began medication and therapy about two years ago, and most of the time, it has been helpful. I am at the point where I could use extra support, especially now. Thank you.
I was born with CP; my twin sister and I had the umbilical cord wrapped around our necks. Unfortunately, my twin was stillborn. Doctors believe that is why I was diagnosed with it when I was around 18 months old.
