swelling
The past couple of days my calves have been swelling. The only way they stop is if I sit down with my feet up. I have a …
I just got back from an unexpected dr.'s appt. When I called them this morning and let them know I had swelling they wanted to see me because of my preeclampsia history. Everything seems to be fine. There was no protein in my urine, my blood pressure was only slightly elevated( my dr. explained this away to nerves) so he thinks this is normal pregnancy swelling. He said the reason it is happening so early is because I have been pregnant so many times before my pelvic area is dropping quickly and causing extra stress. I am so relieved! I think I am going to worry about every little thing that is not just as I want it to be throughout this pregnancy. I have had preeclampsia with each pregnancy(towards the end) so I was very concerned. I am so glad they went ahead and got me in at the dr. today rather than making me wait until my appt. next week.
They listened to the baby's heartbeat (158) and told me the result from my 16 week bloodwork was normal so I was relieved to find out this now rather than next week.
Thank you so much for the thoughts and prayers. I almost feel a little silly for getting so worked up now but I will probably be like this for the next 22 weeks. Thank you for being here.

That is good that everything checked out for you at the dr's appt! It sounds like the baby is doing good! I just loved hearing the babies heartbeat at every appt,it just gives you that extra assurance!

It's good that you went and even better that everything is good. My mom had preeclampsia with me and she always says how worried she was while pregnant with my sister and brother; not to mention how she watched over me like a hawk while I was pregnant. As always, I'm here if you need anything!

Glad everything is ok. You shouldn't feel silly for getting worked up. You're just trying to be sure your baby is healthy. Certainly nothing wrong with that.

Aww hun congratulations! I’m so glad everything went so great ..and you should not feel silly of getting concerned over something like that! It is better to be safe than sorry and it is good you are taking precautions! It is a terrifying to have to go through a scare like that but imagine if you wouldn’t have went to the doctors…stress would be never ending because you would be so worried wondering if everything is ok…why go through all that!! Also, if it happens again you will know how to handle it and not panic about it. I’m so glad you got your test results already yay! Congratulations I am so happy for you! Now we just have to wait for the news to see if the baby will be Brylind Tate or Bryliea Emmi yay!!!! Hmmmm according to the old wives tale it could be a little girl since the heartbeat is higher….we will have to wait and see

Hey you are allowed to worry and we are here no matter how trivial you think it sounds. I'm glad all is well and the dr was very responsive that is very important once you've had a loss. Keep those feel up and relax as much as you can. Hugs and prayers, Angelique
