Hurricane Fay

Greetings and salutations! Last week we found out our house had been sold - we were in a Chapter 13 to try and save it, and with medical problems and the real estate market in California being so sour, we tried to sell the house, but no one even looked at it. We have lived in this house for 14 years, been married for 26+ years. We've accumulated some stuff. So we are scrambling to try and find a place to live. Yesterday I got a call at work from my 88 year old dad. My mom, (80) had fallen and broken her left hip. And then to top it all off, just as I was bringing some groceries in the house, my sandal broke. I almost fell apart right then and there. I haven't totally fallen apart yet, I'm trying to hold it all together so my almost 19 year old daughter doesn't freak out. And to top it all off, we can't afford to go see my mom because of gas prices. I really need to find a few hours where I can have a total meltdown, and then win the lottery. Is there anyone rich out there looking for a charity case? I know I'm being selfish, because there are so many people who have been affected by fires, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes and more and have lost everything. Is the end near?
God is in control. He's got something better for us, I just know that. It's dealing with the here and now that's killing me.

I am so sorry you are having all this trouble. But you know that God is in control and will see you through. I wish I was wealthy, I sure would help you out but I too struggle with money issues. If you need to talk, I am here. Take care and stay strong, Hugs, Delores
