Still just okay Mood

I had a little anxiety at the Glass museum on Saturday and I'm still feeling it today, plus I'm extra sleepy even for a Monday.  I've had so many good days.  Hopefully this doesn't last.  Just feeling a little out of myself, lightheaded and sleepy. 

 

I found a new therapist.  She's on my health plan's list of participating therapists and she's close to my house so I called her and got her directly.  I feel like she's going to be a good one after talking for just a few minutes.  She emailed me her brochure and that sounded right up my alley, too.  She uses a holistic, Humanistic (her word, not mine) approach.  My first appointment is on August 2.

    I'm sorry Megan. :-( I hope you feel better soon. That sucks.

    I feel finding a therapist you can relate to and connect with is important. A few months ago I tried finding a therapist. I was playing phone tag with one woman who kept scheduling and rescheduling my appointment. I finally stopped calling her back because her flakiness was stressing me out!

    I finally gave up because not many therapists had openings in those prime after work hours.

    I looked up Humanistic on Wikipedia. The search came up with Humanism, which doesn't make sense unless your therapist is an atheist.

    I hope your anxiety doesn't last too long either......it sounds like you might have found a good therapist...I hope it works well for you!
