We've basically been sitting around all day waiting for people to return calls. My insurance agency said someone would call and they didn't so I called them back. Then they said get an estimate. Why didn't they say that the first time? So we called the tow yard and they said they knew of a shop and would call us back in a half hour. They didn't call back so Judd called them again and then they gave him the phone numbers for two shops. Why didn't they do that the first time? The shop said they'd go to the tow yard and look at the car within the hour. They actually did that, but by the time they called us back hours had passed. They aren't sure if fixing the radiator will solve our problems. They'd have to look at it with the radiator out to assess any other damage and they're not sure why it's not starting. They wouldn't have parts to do the radiator until tomorrow anyway. After about 5 calls to our insurance people, it looks like we either have to pay almost $1000 to tow it to Seattle or sit here and wait for the car to be fixed. We're leaning toward the latter.

Oh, M, my poor friend! I feel so terrible for you. But somehow you still have a smiley face on... The customer service pretty much everywhere sucks, so I am not surprised although I was hoping for better for you.

Oh yeah, my anxiety hasn't really been acting up. That's the best part. Judd's a little crabby, but I'm fine. None of this is the end of the world, just a temporary pain is the ass. The cats are so happy not being in the car, and they're using their litter which is sitting in the bathtub, so it's ok. The worst part is walking a mile for food, but it's after 4pm so Pizza Hut is delivering now. DD, I wish I had some of your veggies about now. Getting tired on the greasy crap we've been stuck with these last couple days.

Oh, man, travel food can really make you feel like crap. I hope you can find a grocery store soon! Thinking of you today as you sort this out!

Out of all this I am glad your anxiety isn't acting up......that should make you feel better. And you are right....this isn't the end of the world.....but so frustrating nonetheless. I will keep you both in my prayers today!
