My husband and I always say how we don't have any friends, but now that we're moving, we seem to have more friends than we realized.  Trying to see everyone before we go is tough.  Lots of lunches and dinners.  Today I had lunch with my old boss and good friend, David.  I'm not an emotional person, but it was sad to part ways thinking maybe I'll never see him again, although somehow I think I will see him again, but maybe not.  Who knows?

I also had an HFMA meeting this morning which is the business association for people who do what I do and I've been active in the organization for the last 4 years so I know a lot of people and I probably won't see them again.  You can't leave and say, "See you later," because I probably won't.

All this socializing is taxing on the head, but they are all good opportunities for me to get out.
