I havent been around much the last few months so I thought I'd drop by an journal a bit.

Things have been moving right along.  In 35 days I will be flying out to St. Pete to move Kim and the girls out West to Wyoming.  I'm sure the trip will be somewhat similar to a great Chevy Chase "Vacation" movie.  We will be driving 3/4 of the way across the USA.  Kim, the girls and Myself.  Oh yes dont forget the dog, the guinea pig and two fish.  They will soon all have a new home here in Wyoming with Chris, Kylie, Myself, two dogs, two cats and a hamster.  It even looks like we will be adding a pot bellied pig and a english bulldog to the family soon as well.  Well, if I have my way we will....right Kim???

In regards to the kids, they are all doing great.

Chris graduated high school yesterday and received 3 scholorships.  I am quite proud of the young man he is becoming.  Even though he is trying to enjoy the freedoms of being 18 and not wanting the responsabilities of being 18.  He is working at the local theater in Casper.  I'm not sure if he's there for the money or the girls (maybe a little of both).  He is also helping his mothers boyfreind with some work with their plumbing business.   I'm not thrilled with that but I also know I have no control over it.  It really sucks seeing your son bond with another man, much less a man who was involved with the EX before we were divorced.  I know Chris knows the difference between right and wrong and he truly believes that what was done was not right.  He just cant wait for the fishing season to be here so he can start guiding on the North Platte River.  What can I say?  I am very proud of him and what hes done.  I have no doubt that  he will make something of himself and his future.

Kylie is still very active but cant wait until school is out.  She made it to the State Track Tournament this year but didnt place in high jump.  She is planning on working this summer for the town doing some odds and ends to keep her with gas money (for the car that her mother and mothers b/f puchased for her...a whole other story).  Kylie has grown up so much the last year.  She is still very, very angry with her mother and still cannot stand her mothers b/f.  They get into it on a regular basis.  Kylie has always been a strong willed girl but i think that being 16 hasnt helped much.  Funny thing is is she has a heart of gold ...when she wants to.  I have always said I dont wish to get on her bad side.  She is turning into a lovely young lady who, thank goodness is staying away from the boys.

Jaebug ( Jaelyn) is still Jaebug.  The Bug spends her time readng and playing Zoo Tycoon on the computer.  She had excellent grades and was reading at a 6.5 grade level.  Not bad for a 4th grader.  They played for the soccer championship on Saturday and lost 3-2.  We all think thats pretty good for a team that comes from Glenrock and playing against all the other teams from the "big city" of Casper.  The Bug has also opened up her own dog walking business.  We will see how it goes but she is determined to make money for this summer.  Funny thing with the Bug is she still asks from time to time how I think The Big Fellas kids are.  When Larry was around they ALWAYS asked about each other.  That was the kind of man Larry was.  If it wasnt for Larry Im not sure if kim and I would be where we are at right now.  What an honor it is to have known him, talked to him and to have grown from the advise and knowledge he had.  I miss him very much.

It is such a wonderful thing to look forward to, a new beginning with such a person as Kim.  From the beginning when were just friends and supporters of each other to BEST friends then onto becoming lovers.  I know I couldnt have found someone like her without the help of God himself.  All things DO happen for a reason.  I believe that when the EX left things were already in motion for things to only get better in my life...and they have.  She has become my "rock" and I have become hers.  She is such a strong person for every thing she has gone through.  She still comes out swinging when she needs to.  What a personality.  One that is made of being fiesty,silly, loving, understanding, a great friend, a confidant and a wonderful...very wonderful mother. 

I am very blessed and fortunate to be the one that can show her for the rest of her life how she deserves to be treated.  I want her to realize that a woman such as herself deserves to have love, trust , and a friend that will alwasy be there for her.

She has made dreams come true!!  It's her turn now.
