Anyone see "Finding Nemo"? My family calls me "Dory." Hence, my anglefish photo :) I love writing and poetry; psychology-counseling (good thing I chose that as a profession); learning new things; animals (was an exotic bird breeder for years and have four parrots as friends) and two dogs; I have a great husband who I've been married to for over 20 years now (Geez--that makes me sound so old hee hee) two think-they-are-grown children (almost 18 son and 19 y/0 daughter who just moved out on her own); my first journal entry I guess says a bit more about me.

I've got about 12 discs/vertebre that are messed up now so....anyway, got a new thing going now..some neuro thing which is frustrating me more than the pain (except for these horrid headaches!). I could write a novel about back problems and pain...I was disabled for 8 years; and then, decided the pain wasn't getting better so I went to work for 2 years. Well, now I'm looking at disability again.
