My 7 year old son was dio. at the beginning of 2008. We have since had him tested by a nuero psych and found he also has Asperberg's.

Treatments

Adderall Working / Worked

Still on a low dose of 5mg. Might need to increase? Less then a year so we are still working it out.

Vyvanse Somewhat Helpful

Lowest does 30mg ... way to much for my 6year old son. Sure he sat still but it just wasn't him anymore. Plus he was really down all the time and he felt the need to have someone at his side at all times. Just way to much for his little body.

Close Asperger Syndrome

We just found out our 7 year old son has AS. We are trying to get as much information as we can and have found that we are doing a lot of things right but its hard to keep up withthe ever changing nature of AS.
