my life is just a little spec in the vast span of time that dictates our world . how can i sit and be so selfish as to worry about if i fit into my jeans or not when people are dying of hunger and disease all the time. you see the answer is icant so i must stop . but i need help .

I hear you, and you are not selfish.
A little child cries when she falls down because that is a difficult thing to her. Would you look at her and say "stop crying! other people get hurt worse than that everyday?" Or would you help her up and hug her gently? You treat others kinder than you do yourself, don't you?
Please don't be angry with yourself for the way you feel or the day to day things that you worry about. These things are only human. And you are just as human as the rest of the world and just as worthy of a kind word as that little girl who fell on the playground. So be kind to yourself.
