Been married 13 years, 2 beautiful girls. Just found out this last Sept. that my husband had been having an affair with someone that knows both us of for 4 years...now there are 2 kids from that. Some days are ok, others are unbearable. Our oldest daughter, 12, is very special needs, so I stay home with her. Just looking for support I suppose, and a good Therapist.

Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) Depressionmarried for 13 years & have 2 beautiful girls. just found out this last Sept. that my husband had been having an affair with someone, who knew both of us, for 4 years. There are 2 kids from this affair and now the OW is taking everything he has because he wont go back to her. I dont know what to do! My husband and I have agreed to try and make it work between us, and for the most part is going ok, but I still suffer from depression, anxiety, insomnia and major stress on almost every other day.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Not Working
- It worked for awhile but now it is not. I have tried other meds as well and I guess I just get used to them or something.
- Lexapro Somewhat Helpful
- somewhat helped but I did not like the side effects, made me feel like a zombie.
- Prozac Working / Worked
- gave me suicidal feelings, made depression worse
- Support from Friends & Family Working / Worked
- I just don't want everyone knowing how terrible my life is.Dont want to hear the critisizm.
- Writing Working / Worked
- I think it helps to write out your problmes and thoughts, but that only helps for so long before the depression comes back.
- Talking Working / Worked
- it does help sometimes. somtimes not.
- Crying Working / Worked
- crying just gets the feeling of crying out of the way for me. But it does help with stress too.

Open Medicaid
DFS is trying to take away my oldest daughters Mediciad. She is severally Disabled and we cannt afford ANY of her medicine or medical bills. DFS expects us to make $737 a month for her to able to keep it and they know that she is unsurable. She's been on Medical Assistance for disabled children for 12 years and they are not telling us that we have to pay$285.05 per month or she will lose it.
