Wow, life seems to throw ALOT of curves at once.  We found out today we need $1500 by the 19th, or forecloser will happen and we'll lose our 50 acres.  Jim has lived here for 24 years and has been BAD depressed lately, this was NOT the news he needed today.  He can't get ahold of his ex-boss (ex-friend, now, I guess) for the $105 he owes him, not alot, but he owes him, he's down about not being able to get any wood sales, he doesn't want to leave the house, do anything.  I told him 2 depressed people in this house s not good.  My depression has been around alot longer...he's supposed to be the strong one.  He's 51 1/2 and hasn't had to punch a clock in 10 years, now things have turned.  I told him he's got to brush himself off and do what he can.  We're trying to get his board lumber business going but not sure how to get the word out with no money to do so, the house is still for sale, his BEAUTIFUL 43 acres in the UP are for sale (really don't want to lose), nothing seems to fall in line for us.  Kind of like a train wreck, but not exactly still connected, is more like it.  As my bud would say, WTF!!!!  I'm really hoping there won't be another lay-off soon, but who knows....

I wish to God I would've remembered to get w/HR about my vacation money, since I got it at once, I'm afraid to take a day off because we got SOME bills paid up, but now I'll be short when I do take off...(one good thing right now, my Buddy Pie loves me home, he won't lay down without being by me, Good Boy!)but then I wonder how to keep him and the kitty fed....I do have MY job, but one paycheck only goes so far.  Jim's got some things lined up, but it's when others are ready.

  At least I have somewhere to go to put all of these thoughts to use and hopefully get a little support, to tell me there are others out there w/the same problems and we can connect.  Sometimes by putting things into words, it helps bring answers.  Thank God for Daily Strength!
