Taking the next step Mood
Monday, May 19, 2008 | A Positive story
So my goal is to let go of the things that have happened to me and take on the world as a new woman. Well I'm happy to report that I'm well on my way. I try to start each day, no matter how awful the night was, as a good day. I have lots of things to be thankful for, and I am opening my eyes to see them these days. I have a family, while not always the best for me, a family that loves me and does what they can to support me. I have a decent job, working on a college education. I have lots of postive things in my life that I should be happy about. I'm tired of focusing on the negative. The past few days, I have been working pretty long shifts and even though I'm tired and sore, and a mulitude of other things, I still come home in a good mood. I really feel like I've taken a giant step forward in getting my life on track and letting go of the painful memories that tie me to the past.
