Yesturday I walked a total of 8.21KM (10271 steps). I am proud of my self. At least I have been keeping up with this goal!

Hope you take your time and really make sure that you are a candidate for fusion. Surgery is not always the answer. I hope you feel better soon. Hang in there. You are not alone.

I was diagnosed in october 2006. I was taken to the hospital because I couldn't walk and had begin to lose control of my bowel and bladder functions. I had previously been told that my pain was due to fibromayalgia, so I assumed that is what it was. However, I was informed that I needed to have surgery in order for me to walk again and learned that all my pain and mobility problems had not been fibro but DDD.
I have been smoking since i was thirteen I am now 39. I have been diagnosed with COPD and have been trying to quit for about a month.
I was diagnosed in November of 2001 with Fibro. Since, then I have found that I have Degenerative disc disease and other neurological problems. But I still suffer from the effects of Fibro.
