Close Eczema
I developed nummular eczema at age 44 and it came and went a number of times, but it's been flaring on my elbows and knees for a few months now.
Treatments
- Clobetasol Working / Worked
- Can take the pigment out of your skin, but works much faster than other steroid creams. My eczema only responds to the strongest steroid creams.
- Emu Oil Working / Worked
- I like using emu oil after my shower and then a layer of curel lotion. It keeps my skin moister all day and it's supposed to sink in and act like your natural oils.
- Evening Primrose Oil Working / Worked
- I've been taking the supplements for the past few months and my knees seem to stay clearer longer when I do.
- Triamcinolone Topical Working / Worked
- This is a great cream to use once the clobetasol has nipped the fresh outbreak in the bud. Then I use this so I don't have to keep using the strong stuff so long.
