First, to everyone on my friends list, as well as anyone else. I'm still in the middle of everything that's going on with the lil one and custody. However, at this point there's not much more I can do. I still have many appointments, court dates, etc ahead of me, but all the grunt works is pretty well done now. With nothing more I can do except waiting around, not working ,etc I really don't mind being there for anyone that might need a bit of company at times. What I could use more than anything myself is a bit of distraction occasionally, if I can anyway help ya at the same time I'm more than happy to be there for ya. Of course, I'd be there for ya guys anyways lol.
So, onto the latest updates. Just got back from the lil ones Ped appointment. She has lost weight and there is a medical concern. She's being tested for a couple things to rule out any other possibilities. What it comes down to though is I have her on record loosing weight, add that in with the 3 witnesses who saw the after effects of the Ex's visit and it's fairly easy to figure out what's going on.
It's sad what's happening to the lil one, but her health is being effected now, she's sick in her own home because of all of this. Hopefully, with my attorneys help and the paperwork I have now we can change things to keep the lil one from getting sick anymore.
Just got the call in, her test came in completely good so it's just the stress. She'd be %100 healthy otherwise and this random visitation has got to stop. It'll be a few weeks before anything can really be done though so in the mean time the lil one will continue to get ill. Going to make sure the place is spotless, that she has plenty of good food to eat, and eventually try to get her out (when she's feeling well) enough to keep her distracted.
The ex may be coming by for her 4th visit since April. She barely calls, hasn't even helped out with $5 for anything for the lil one. Just spends her $$ on herself and partying leaving me with full care and responsibility for the child, yet complains (to the courts) that I'm denying her visitation, being a bad parent, etc. My attorney should have fun with this case I think.
Also, I do tend to repeat myself. I had my own form of a bad childhood. The repeating thing comes from a communication issue with one of my parents. No matter how clearly I said something or how many times there were several times that I "got into trouble" for not saying something in the first place, or that I was lying about something, etc. So now I find myself speaking very clearly and explaining things often. Sadly, I still find people who are unable to listen or even understand basic concepts.
