About Me
I am 48 yrs old. Have been married almost 30 yrs, have a son 26, a daughter 29, and a wonderful 22 mth old granddaugher. Was just diagnosed recently with Ra. Had foot surgery in Jan. and have pretty well been homebound since. Just started Pt so that is helping. I am getting more and more mobile everyday. Love to decorate, garden, and camp. Some of the things are getting hard to do, but I still try.

Had foot surgery in Jan. which put me down for a while, but I am getting more and more mobile everyday. I love to decorate, garden, and go to our camper. It is getting harder and harder to do these things, but I still try. Hope to gain some support and advice from this community.

Close Prescription Drug Abuse
My son was addicted to painkillers for about 4 yrs. He is trying to turn his life around. The yrs of living with a drug addict has taken its toll on our whole family. I would love talking to parents who have children as addicts. I still have a major trust issue with my son but am trying so hard to overcome it. I love him dearly and I will continue to support him no matter what. A big part of my soul died when he became an addict and I work daily trying to get it back.
Open Smoking Addiction & Recovery
Been smoking for about 30 yrs now. Everytime I get a cold, it goes to bronchitis or pneumonia. Last chest x-ray showed early signs of emphemysema. So I have to try to quit.
Open Diverticulitis
Was just diagnosed a few days ago after a colonoscopy. Really don't know much about it other than what I have read.
