Well it's my 2nd night...tried to sleep during the day but just laid there.  At times there was too much noise at Sal's house...company coming and going.  I'll be glad to get back to my own place Thursday morning.  I made split pea soup w/ham which I love.  Sal didn't like it (too mushy). S and Tina each had two big bowls.  S leaves Wednesday afternoon.  He's a nice friend to have and I enjoy his company.  However I do wish he were different when it comes to love making...he's all grabby...not tender and caressing like I like.  Plus he's given up even trying with the ED and all...just has kind of accepted it's all over (sex life)  I know it's only a compliment to life..but it can be a nice compliment.  oh well que sera sera.

We've been asked to work our day off.  Hey it's overtime and I'll take whatever I can get...we don't know what is going to happen when we (Verizon) get sold to Fairpoint Communications.  The contract expires in August.  We will be losing a lot of benefits for sure.  There will be no pay raises for 7 years (already stated)...just hoping our hourly rate doesn't get cut in half (Fairpoint techs make half of what we do) have a big mortgage to maintain.  Again que sera sera.  I just live life a day at a time.

Just spoke with one of my co-workers on the night shift...looks like we'll be working 7 days a week if we choose (16 hrs OT = 24 hrs pay).  I live alone so that wouldn't be too hard to take.  I would still get to go to bingo on Friday nights near where I work...will just go straight to work after and nap for 1 1/2 hours before the tour begins.

Going to vote when I get off work in the morning.
