About Me
I have been blessed with a wonderful family and a wonderful job. I am thankful for these and all other aspects of my life. Even though I've received a shocking blow to my senses with my dx of Hep C, I know there are other people who have something in their lives that is much worse than my woe. I have finally quit obsessing about "where did I get this" and, quite frankly, I don't give a damn anymore. I have it - period. I want to get rid of it - period. I am going to continue to live my life and not let Hep C live it for me. I am counting on all of my friends at DS to help me do that. (Group HUG).
Interests
Living, my 5 adult children, my husband, biking, hiking, swimming, canoing, flower garden, veggie garden... sunny days, rainy days...good health.

Hey My Mary You have NO IDEA what your call meant to me today Thats was my second crisis and you were right there..Your voice is as beautiful as all of you..It went perfect with you and I immediatley began sobbing when you started talking I had a real unload day...I cant thank you enough...You know sometimes Im confused I have gotten more love and support on here than in some areas of my regular life. I have alot of great people at y job and church yet you and the girls have been with me every day every step.....Thank you for your priceless gift today...your DA bomb as one of the guys at my job said to me. oh that pic underme is is hilarious LOL oh thats a keeper ooh ive certainly been there haha oh im so sorry i havent been as around as i should but my net went down Mon morning and the 5th engineer got it going but it goes down once every 4 days !!!l l had great news re hepc but my kidneys arent functioning properly---im sure it will be ok went to Jacks Haunt Tues-he says hi but seriously somebody at DS has been sending me emails from another DS mate who knows nothing about iit....and then they sent my mate a malicious hug from me ,,,,,,in my name so im a bit freaked,,,,,,i think i know who it is too!!!how are you? i didnt read your journal before this hug so im not sure,,,,you finished your trtmnt didnt ya?? ill get back to you it was nice yo get that hug so heres one from London back at cha!!X SARAXXX

Close Hepatitis C
Routine physical turned up elevated LFTs. Doc didn't want to check it out...I insisted. He said: "I am not surprised by anything but if you were to come back positive for Hep C, I would fall off my chair." Guess he fell - wonder if he broke anything. Most likely got it from a transfusion years and years ago. Type 1b, liver bx was grade 1/stage 1.
