I am 55 and had a total abdominal hysterectomy 5 years ago....ovaries, uterus and cervix removed. Am not on HRT because my mom had breast cancer a couple of years ago..all related to her use of Premarin for 20 years. Doing well, though. Hot flashes are irritating and Paxil helps reduce those alot! Not happy about being on an anti-depressant but the flashes really take my energy level down.
