Journal Entry for January 29, 2008 Mood
Tuesday, January 29, 2008

Somehow, I keep forgetting to stop and weigh myself. how convenient. The gym is a bit ridiculous right now. They have 3 parking lots--all packed. There's a line to get on a treadmill. Ah well, as the new year's resolutions fade from memory, the people will fade from the gym.

It's been storming here hard enough to keep me off my bicycle for a couple of days, and so I thought I'd use the aerobic machines, only to discover after a brutalizing hour spent with the treadmill, elliptical trainer, and stationary bicycle, that there are many different kinds of shape, and I'm not really in any of them.

Afterwards, I gingerly made my way down to the weight room, soaked from head to foot, for another hour.

Today I'm spent, but still eager. Strange how your mind/body begins to crave almost any routine you give it.

lol, it's true. Different kinds of exercise reminds us that if we do the same thing everyday our bodies get used to it. Man, I gotta hit the gym tonight. Poop. Good Job!
