      I have been where you are and would love to help any way I can. I relapsed in September and was also diagnosed as stage IV. I am still battling myself, but I am happy to report that I am doing well. When I relapsed, the doctors were VERY pessimistic - it was like they were afraid to offer me any hope. They were basically writing me off. Since then, I have done a lot of research and started advocating for myself. I also got a second opinion from an independent team. I live in Canada and they didn't want to treat me here, so I went to MD Anderson in Houston for a second opinion. They operated on me and suggested a chemotherapy that seems to be helping as well. Stage IV cancer is tough, but don't give up! I'm here with you and am happy to help anyway I can. Please don't be afraid to ask. I wish you the best of luck (and doctors :)).       Hi, I was diag. with stage 4 liver cancer in Jan. Just saw the GI doc last Thur. put me on new meds. Says that I need to build muslce mass and low sodium diet. This is all new to us and we are not sure how to progress. Dr. did call with blood results and was pleased that Liv enz. were better thatn last time and albumin was up from 2.5 to 3.3.
