About Me
I am working mother/wife w/ two sons, 1-4 mos & the other 8 yrs old. I am a mortgage underwriter & live/work in the same city.
Interests
I love movies, especially old black & whites. I enjoy going to my son's sporting events & spending time with family. My newest "hobby" which I haven't found much time for lately is scrapbooking. I started a sports scrapbook for my son, which has played a ton of sports in the last 5 yrs.

I’m With You
Hello! I know its hard when you first find out about this diagnosis but it will get better. They started my 9 years old on concerta and after not seeing much improvment they put her on adderall and she is doing great! Best of luck to you and it will get better.

welcome. my son was diagnosed at age 8, he is almost 10 now. He was on adderal XR for a little while too. It is not easy to deal with- especially alone.

Close Parents of Children with ADHD
My 8 yr old son has ADHD. We just recently put him on Adderall XR. I don't know anyone who has children with this illness. I feel very alone in dealing with this, since it was really hard for my husband to understand the illness. He is my son's stepfather & was against medicating. Although, my son's teacher & I have seen a difference since taking it. I'm joining the group to stay positive & for support.
