I am so sorry to hear about your Grandad. Meso is such a terrible, terrible disease. How is everything going with your exams at the moment? I am sorry that I have not replied to you sooner. We have just come back from holidays and it is taking me awhile to get myself back to normal! I have a 14 year old daughter too. Term 2 started back for her this week and she will face exams in about 5-6 weeks. She will totally agree with you - aaarrgghhh! Hope you have a lovely weekend. Vicki x

My Grandad was diagnosed with the disease in 2003 and died in 2006 when I was only 12, now I am 14. His spread from his lung to his brain. Over the christmas of 2005 he deteriorated and couldn;t do anything for himself....watching this was heartbreaking. The man I idolised for so many years was falling away from me! But the whole family helped and he died peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones.
