I work for in the office of a natural gas company that drills wells. I have two kids. Destini is 9 and Matt is almost 6. Destini has ADHD. I am almost one year out of a 8 year abusive relationship and in addition to quitting smoking I am eating healthier and losing weight!!

I was with my abusive ex, Mike, for 8 years. He was both physically and emotionally abusive. We have been officially separted and living apart 1 year in June. After the split I was wishy washy and kept seeing him. In December of 07 he broke in my house and I had to say enough is enough and press charges. He spent 3 1/2 months in jail and just got out at the begining of April. It has been a long, hard road but I am learning to be independent... FINALLY!
When I was a teen I was about 160 lbs. (My normal weight range for my height is 150). I gained 30 lbs when I got pregnant with my daughter and another 25 with my son. I never lost any of it. I started at 235 and am currently at 206 and refuse to give up this time.. every week gets me closer to where I plan to go!!!
My 9 year old daughter had problems in school from kindergarten!! She couldn't sit still, couldn't focus on her work.. it was a constant uphill battle. Last year she was diagnosed with ADHD and put on meds. Since the meds I have seen a complete turn around with school.. she loves it and is doing great!!!
My abusive ex cheated on me both online and off the entire time we were together. I always forgave him because, although he didn't know WHY he did it, he was always sooo sorry. He broke me down to the point that I just couldn't take it anymore and began to wonder what was wrong with me!
