I developed Pemphigoid Mucosa (MMP) about two years. Initially it was a minor nuisance however about six months ago it migrated to my Larynx which it is of considerable concern as it initially caused a growth of a "web" across muy vocal chords - a potentially fatal problem if it had not been controlled by drugs. It is currently being treated by Prenisolone and Cyclophosamide. The latter is about to be replaced by Imuran

      Treatments

      Cyclophosphamide Working / Worked
      Slight reduction in energy levels.
      Prednisone Working / Worked
No immediate side effects however I take other drugs to counter the side effects eg caclium cupplements and vitamin D to couteract the leeching of calcium from my bones.
      Azathioprine Too Soon to Tell
It is being used to replace the cyclophosphamadine
