Just a quick update. 41 days sober.

Just a quick update that my grandmother is doing well, still in the hospital but upbeat. She was admitted for a low blood count and tests are still being run. She continues to be a little forgetful but at 79, that's not unusual. I'm so relieved that it looks like she'll be coming out of this okay.
On other news, hopefully I'll be getting the MRI today (if not today then Thursday, no matter what - I'm determined). It's not scheduled because I can't get a doctor to see me to request it, but the ER doctors keep telling me I need one desperately. So, thinking positivly, I'll get the tests and find out what I can do so I can finally get back to work.
I love writing about GOOD things! Such a nice change!

okay, so the MRI wasn't a possibility today but continuing with the positive thinking, I'm going to get it Thursday, when the mobile MRI unit is back. The mobile unit snuck out early today. For the price of those things, you'd think they could afford one without wheels.
