Divorced 6 yrs. I have a 23 yr. old son who is a great young man.. I have PTSD.. Also hypothyroidism, diabetetes, and osteoarthitis... Was a "gym rat" until 1 yr. ago .. I am 52yrs. old and need both knees replaced !! Yikes !!!!! I am a retired dental hygienist and living in Pittsburgh, Pa.
Interests
Had many phyisical interests, but now limited... I do love cooking, Brando movies, I try dancing..... I knitt, sew , and enjoy family and dating..

Thanks Cia..my fourth was okay. The fireworks had me worked up a little. I haven't been on in awhile because I just started college. I am enjoying myself in the fact that I am educating myself FINALLY! Am just dealing with life, such as it is, day by day right now. Havin a pity party here, sorry!! Close Hypothyroidism
Have had hypothryoidism for 23 yrs. now.. My levels have been changing for the past yr or so.. wondering if it's because I am on generic meds... I am 52 and starting menopause..

I have osteoarthirtis and was diagnosed at age 30. I am now 52.. tried so many meds... I now need two knee replacements.. I was quite active .. A dancer, lifted wieghts, aerobics, and was a gym rat... I do have a family history of this.. My quality of life is so bad right now... Maybe this group could be of comfort and help

Open Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder
My ex-husband became a cocaine addictthe last yr. of our 20 yr. marriage. He became very abusive and the day before I had him removed from our home he kept me in our bedroom with locked door and beat me for 4 solid hours.. Noone heard my cries of help for 4 hours... Finally someone called the police.. The nightmares, the screaming out, the awful vivid dreams .... They subside a little, then out of the blue, something, the oddest thing will trigger the nightmares all over again. Here we go again.
