is feeling OK
I lost my father on, March 23, 2008 - Easter Sunday. I have been trying to be strong but it's getting harder and harder. At work I can't cry, at my mom's house I don't want to cry and stir things with her even more to. I try to do things with her to keep her as distracted as possible. At home at seldom cry to upset my husband. And I don't want to burden my friends with my feelings and bring them down. I find this site to be a great way to relate to others who are going through what I'm going through. Plus I'm able to vent here and write what's on my mind. I also like the journal, which I have been updating ever since I joined the site.
I've lost 46 lbs so far doing Weight Watchers and a lot of exercise. I'm addicted to Spinning classes, dance class, and the gym. Love watching movies - new favorite is "Enchanted". My husband and I have almost 200 dvd's. I love music. The first thing I do in the morning is turn on the radio or my iPod. I have a cat called Marina Kat, which is constant companion. My husband and I say that she is our "puppy-cat" as she is quite different from most cats. She actually follows us around, response to when she is called (most of the time) and loves to be around people. Plus, she is an awesome source of amusement.

Thinking of you!!
I just lost my dad on Easter Sunday. I'm full of pent up emotions stemming from pain, sorrow, anger, and others that I can't describe
I used to weigh 125 lbs and then I became sick with a disease call aplastic anemia. I was put on high dosage of prednisone (1,000 mg through my mediport). I gained more than 30 lbs in a month and every two years I tend to relapse and be put on that medication again, although at a smaller dose of 180 mg a day. Well, I have been on Weight Watchers for the past 6 months and have lost 38 lbs so far. I'm really motivated with it and exercising. Like anything, you have to be committed and it will pay.
