Close Depression
Type: Clinical (Major) DepressionI started to be "depressed" around the 9th grade. It got worse in the following years. I am now ready to graduate high school, and i took myself off my depression pills and am battling it alone. I am doing well, but I have my bad days. I also have some Seasonal Affective Disorder issues as well.
Treatments
- Cymbalta Working / Worked
- It is my most recent medicine. It made me not go into those major "lows".
- Effexor Somewhat Helpful
- I didn't really like this, but it didn't do anything bad.
- Lexapro Not Working
- This made me almost commit suicide 2 times. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone my age. (18 or younger)
- Meditation Working / Worked
- LOVE IT!!! but that is just me...
- Positive Thinking Working / Worked
- This works as long as the people around you are posotive.
- Psychotherapy Working / Worked
- I have a brilliant psycotherapy. We both ride horses, and it helps that we have something in common.
Close Hypothyroidism
I started to get fat, lol, and so my mom and my doc tried to find an excuse for it, because it was REALLY hard for me to lose weight.

- This works pretty good. I don't take it regularly, so i really dont notice the effects.
