About Me
I am a 48 year old RN who is happily married with two great kids. My family is addicted to animals. I have one border collie, four cats and one Egyptian Arabian horse and two granddogs that I adore. I was diagnosed in 2000, but had fibro for years before that. Despite being a nurse, I thought I could outrun it! It finally forced me to quit my job in Dec.,2001.It broke my heart because nursing was my calling and passion, but I am learning to trust the other plans that God has for my life.

- Have massage therapist and do self work that helps some
- Acupuncture Somewhat Helpful
- Stopped after two years. I plan to try it again
- Cyclobenzaprine Working / Worked
- Took a break after several years and when I went back on it, it worked better again
- Cymbalta Too Soon to Tell
- Just switched to this one week ago
- Guaifenesin Working / Worked
- Have stopped a couple of times and always go back on it. I am being too slack about avoiding things that may block guafenesin

- Too many of the common side effects.
- Ultram Not Working
- Just doesn't seem to affect my pain. Maybe I am just too hesitant to take higher and higher doses
