Hi Nicola: My name is Denita. You can read my page to get acquainted with me if you like. I have written a book for those who have lost the ones they love. It will help you put your life in proper perspective after a loss. I send this book to people at this site as a gift. Here's a hug for you! I'm also interested in majoring in social work. Maybe you could give me some insight into what you do as a social worker!
hang in there.
I have been diagnosed with prolactinoma for the past three years. I remember it was on the day that my mom was getting married. I was getting these headaches that would not go away. My period was very irregular, and my vision was blurry. I was having these moods swings and I knew there was something going on with my body. I went to my Gyn after not having my period for three months. She ran some blood test and later told me that I have a condition called prolactinomia.
I lost my dad in 1998 from a massive stroke that killed him a day later. I did not get the chance to see him before he died. My father's dad died two years later. My uncle which is my father's brother died a year later from cancer. I almost lost my mother a few weeks ago from a heart attack. I don't know what I would do if I had lost her too.
