      My husband had encephalitis OR a brain stem stroke 4 years ago. They never decided which it was. He went from a 240 pound man who was a pilot, traveled with me, worked the garden, etc etc etc to someone who now o nly sometimes knows who I am, has NO short term memory, has a feeding tube, speech impaired because I believe from the ventillator and trach, is incontinent,no balance whatsoever, etc. Anybody else have a similar situation?
