I just had to ask my sister this today!!
I was sitting here today feeling lethalgic, dizzy, nauseous, achey and generally sorry-for-myself today when my sister and her husband turned up sprouting about their new health kick and how she has lost 8kgs or something.
My mouth and my head said "WOOHOO way to go" etc etc etc. My heart went "grumble grumble grumble"
Then mum was telling her how sick i have been.
He first response was "Surely the doctor can give you something for that..."
I had to laugh
So what do they give you to withdraw from what they give you for withdrawal??????
And while im at it.....
Why is 'abbreviation' such a long word?
And did you know that 'verb' is a noun? (One of my year 4 boys pointed that out to me)
