About Me
I will be married for 5 years this February. No kids unless, you count the two cutest little Daschunds in the whole freaking world...oh yeah and my husband (ok, so I have 3 kids). Diagnosed in July 2006 with Crohn's disease. Went in for surgery to remove my gall bladder and appendix, and woke up with a Crohn's diagnosis.
Interests
I enjoy going to concerts, playing with my dogs, spending time with family, shopping...oh and discussing my bowels with you fine people. **smooches**

Close Crohn's Disease & Ulcerative Colitis
My Crohn's was spotted during a appendectomy and cholecystectomy 2 years ago. Turns out that the gall bladder and appendix were both fine.
Treatments
- Asacol Working / Worked
- Pentasa is working after being given Asacol by some retard that should not be allowed to have DR. in front of his name.
- Avoid Certain Foods / Chemicals Working / Worked
- I miss berries, granola, celery..you know all the good stuff. Low resudie diets SUCK!
- Dietary Modification Working / Worked
- Low-residue diet. It is BORING, but at least I do not feel like I ate glass when I follow it.
- Entocort Working / Worked
- Side effects included acne...surprisingly, no weight gain. THANK GOODNESS!
- Flagyl Not Working
- it makes me hurl like Linda Blair.
- Lomotil Working / Worked
- It did work, but I never really had to use it much.
- Probiotics Considering
- Not sure where to start, a little overwhelming.
- Remicade Working / Worked
- Awesome drug. But I think that it is causing skin cancer...eek.
- Surgery Considering
- My GI does not want to because of the risk of recurrence next to the reattachment point. Sometimes I would rather have them just cut the bad parts out.
