i started learning qi gong today. i'm excited to continue with the practice since it's easy to follow.
other than that, my day was good. i walked around a lot with my gf in vermont. afterwards i was really tired but the upside was that we picked up cheap, international foodstuffs that are hard to find where we live in western mass.
i had another 'autonomic dysfunction' spell today, not as hardcore as yesterday. and my gf was with me, at least, for comfort. today when the doctor's office opens, i plan to call and ask what i should do. i mean, i'm waiting to see specialists, but in the meantime this is challenging to deal with. especially alone. really, i don't know what he can do either.
well, i'm looking forward to spending another day with my partner until she goes to work on wednesday.
my appetite is slowly returning after swollen lymph nodes made it hard to swallow. they are going back down somewhat thanks to the antibiotics.
tomorrow i'm starting a search for a new therapist.
this week, on the days that my partner goes to work, i hope to have more time to read and write...maybe cook, if i'm feeling better.

with qigong, it's an ancient practice for 100s of years by the chinese that combines slow movement and meditation.
there is a link to start some basic exercises. i do many of them sitting down and it helps. these slow movements help me to focus my mind on the energy of my body and my feelings, to start.
for meditation while just sitting there, it doesn't work for me because my mind wanders, but focusing on movement helps like in qigong. the movement can also symbolize moving hurt or blocked energy/feelings from your heart or elsewhere and letting it go into the universe, while accepting positive energy from the world and the earth back into your spirit.
that's just my take on it, you should try it and see what it does for you.
yoga was too hard for me cuz of spasticity issues but qigong seems gentler.
