DESPITE NO CALL FOR MOTHERS DAY FROM MY SON IN JAIL, I DID GET A LETTER FROM HIM ON TUESDAY. HE APOLOGUIZED FOR HIS ATTITUDE DURRING OUR LAST PHONE CALL, BLA BLA BLA. IT WAS ONE OF THOSE MANIPULATIVE LETETRS THAT I HATE. I WANT TO BELIEVE HIM SO BAD WHEN HE IS SAYING THE RIGHT THINGS BUT I KNOW BETTER. THE LETTER WAS JUST SO SCRIPTED. LIKE HIS CASE MANAGER WROTE IT FOR HIM....HES BEEN GETTING INTO TROUBLE A LOT IN THERE AND HE WAS SUPPOSED TO HAVE A REVIEW THIS MORNING AT 11:30 AND THEY CALLED TO TELL ME THEY WOULD CALL ME WHEN IT STARTED BUT NONE OF MY PHONES EVER RANG! THEY COULD AT LEAST TELL ME THAT HE DIDNT SHOW UP WHICH I DONT UNDERSTAND HOW YOU HAVE THE CHOICE FOR ANYTHING WHEN YOURE IN JAIL...SHOULD HE COME HOME? GO TO A GROUP HOME? WHAT IS BEST FOR HIM? I KNOW THAT IT ISNT BEST FOR THE FAMILY AS A WHOLE IF HE WAS TO COME HOME. BUT DO I TURN MY BACK ON HIM LIEK HIS BIRTHMOTHER DID? OR DO I LET HIM USE ME JUST TO SAVE FACE? AT THIS POINT I DONT CARE IF HE TOOK HIS BUTT TO NEW MEXICO TO BE WITH HER. HE GETS OUT IN AUG IF THEY LET HIM OUT, SO I HAVE A LITTLE MORE TIME TO COME TO A DECISION BUT I AM SO TIRED OF THIS GAME. ITS BEEN MORE THAN A YEAR THAT HES BEEN LOCKED UP AND HE HASNT LEARNED ANYTHING! WELL, NOTHING GOOD ANYWAYS. IS TEHRE A SUPPORT GROUP OUT THERE FOR MOTHERS OF INMATES? THANK GOD I HAVE BROWNIES IN THE OVEN.....

Take a deep breath and call your daddy ask his advice you know he has a level head and will help you as he can. The best thing I ever did for my family was to let Bec go. When she came back she was a monster and I had to let her go forever, will it hurt? YES! Will you get over it? NO! Will you be able to live with yourself? YES! And without all the bs from the boy. Wow...when it rains it pours. I have never been in your shoes but I know people who have been. It usually comes down to how it will affect the younger kids. Will he drag them down and take them to the bottom of the pit with him? If he makes some big changes before then, it might be different. Just be careful of those younger children. You are pretty important too!
