I was outside tonight as last night watching the full moon and the one star above it as was my soul sister V.. We both are observers of Nature and its lessons. I saw the one star and made a wish.. I can not reveal the wish , but I would like to tell you all that it came true in only one day.. I never wish for large material items or superficial things that are fleeting.. I seek clarity, peace, and grace so that I may continue to see and feel the beauty that surrounds me each day. I don't want to miss a thing, is the way the song goes , and I feel like that. I want to experience it all..
I was talking with a friend last night and I said I have never been to a big concert.. I remember as a child going to see Loretta Lynn and Conway Twitty in an open field but that is not quite the same as a concert.. I am putting it on my bucket list as he suggested.
What do you wish for? Do you have dreams? Do you have a bucket list? I do and am going to share it here for all to see. I recommend getting one sooner rather than later and start checking them off, one by one.. Life is so short and if we only knew how short , we would be doing everything in our power to make our wishes and dreams come true..
My bucket list:
To see a sunset with someone I love, holding hands , and letting the sun bathe us..
To ride a train
To go to Scotland, the land of my ancestors
To go to the Smithsonian. ( this is my highest priority on my list)
To go to a Concert.. ( maybe jonny lang, kenny wayne sheppard, B B King, Or one of the rock groups like Led Zepplin, or the supreme southern rockers Lynyrd Skynyard
To play in a waterfall with a friend ( a good friend.. LOL. )

A poem I wrote. Moonlight Walk
She walks in the moonlight
the glow shining on her hair
She wonders about the man
and why he is not there
He walks in the moonlight
another time, another place
she knows that he exist
because she has seen his face
their paths converge, but do not meet
she thinks of him
but can not speak
he loves her so much
but fear rules his heart
she loves him as well
but does not know how to start
each in their own world
never to meet
if it were not love
would it be so sweet
going around in circles
seeing the moonlight
each making wishes
in the still of the night
come take my hand, she says with a sigh
let me be your light, take me at night
sit by my side and hold my hand
I will be your woman and you will be my man

Such a beautiful poem Kimmeee. I took my 9 yr. old to an outdoor concert of Styx and Boston this summer, it will remain one of my best memories. I hope you soon get to start crossing off you list.
