I really and truely hate my life right now! My husband has left me for a girl young enough to be our daughter and is now living with her and I presume is happier than he was with me. I'm being forced to live with my son and daughter in law, who brought 5 cats with them. The cats are all over my furniture and tables and I really hate cats on my tables. My daughter's truck is down, so, that means I get my granddaughter at 7:30 AM instead of 11 AM. My insurance won't pay for my name brand meds anymore and now have to take OTC meds for my acid reflux, which doesn't work and I have to go back to eating tums like they are candy. Oh, and did I mention the 5 CATS my son and daughter in law have brought into my house!!!! One of the cats thinks the floor in front of my bedroom door is the place to relieve himself, not the litter box, which they have sitting in my living room. I have no money to buy food. It's several weeks before I get my next check and that will go for the house payment and my prescriptions. Anythiing left over will have to go for utilities. I can only pray that my son and daughter in law give me the money they've promised so that I can survive here. I will probably have to pack up and move into an apt and lose my house because of my stupid husband and his mid-life crisis! I am so tired and my stomach is burning. I can't eat which means I can't take my meds, well some of them anyway. I just want to crawl into a hole and die.

Truly and deeply sorry about your feelings of misery and pain. I adore cats, but would have issues with what you describe, and big time issues too.
I have you tucked in my sleeve, keeping thoughts of comfort and safety for your immediate future. I hope so much that things improve for you soon.

I know about that acid reflux/ Tums problem, a serious thing. I have a solution that has worked for me, but it takes a few weeks to kick in and your mileage might vary, but I have had some very good recovery. I don't have a financial interest in sharing the info, but really feel for you.... I am a mid-life crisis victim too as you may recall and i hate all the trainwrecks these selfish bastards cause (pardon my hostility to the teenagers in middle aged bodies and my French).
If you are interested in some input about your reflux (I am NOT a health professional either, just a former sufferer who is willing to share) please message me. If not, that is fine too. This may not be a time to discuss this. Because you are overwhelmed I am sure.
I am praying that you feel some relief from the pressure and fears you are dealing with. We are here for you, remember, and all are hoping for the best for you.
