Our friend arrived this morning via AmTrak.  Carl picked her up and they went walking in the park before coming home for me to go out for breakfast.  We then went and did some more geocaching.  Geocaching is kind of like treasure hunting.  You use a hand held GPS unit.  You go to the website to find where the caches are.  They GPS coordinates are on the web site.  You put them into the GPS unit and then go and find the cache.  There could be just about anything hidden in these boxes.  We've found butter tubs hidden in old tree stumps and bigger plastic boxes hidden among logs or in bushes.  You will find a log book you sign, to let the owner know you were there, as well as other geocachers.  Some have little trinkets of most any kind.  If you find something you like, you can take it out, but you must put something else in.  Anyway, we went geocaching today.  We looked for four of them and found two.  The two we found were very small and held only pages for logging  you were there.  The last one we went looking for was in the park and we had to go down a steep incline.  As we were going down, my foot slid on some wet leaves that were covering mud.  Yes, I fell, and I fell hard!!  I fell onto my left hip and felt my neck snap back and my head hit my shoulders.  I'm a little bit sore tonight.  Of course, I was covered in mud!  Carl and Amanda helped me up to my feet and back up the the path and I went back to the car to wait for them to come back.  They couldn't find the cache, so we left and went around the other side of where it should have been.  Carl tried to get to it from a different place, but couldn't get to it.  I had already decided I was done for the day!  We have to be careful which of these caches I can go looking for.  I won't attempt one like that again.  I'm feeling the pain down my back, the back of my head, my shoulders and my left leg.  I have a feeling I may feel it more tomorrow, but may not.  I'll just have to take some motrin if I do.  It's now after 10 PM and we still haven't had dinner.  Carl decided he wanted to cook out tonight and by the time they had their naps and someone got me to the store, it was rather late.  Then, after I got home, Carl let me know we were out of charcoal.....nice!  So, we are waiting for the coals to get just right so we can put the burgers on.  The lettuce and tomatoes are ready to go.  I bought store made potato salad and some chips.  That should be about enough for everyone.  Well, I hope you all had a better day than mine.  I must say that I did enjoy the exercise, but I certainly could have done without the fall!!!
