My husband and I just got home from a weekend in Michigan.  We have some friends there we met online.  Tomorrow is Carl's 50th birthday.  We got there about 2:30 in the afternoon after a four hour drive.  We didn't do much on Friday, it was very nice out and we just sat out on the front porch for the evening.  Eventually it did start to rain and that drove us indoors.  On Saturday, we went GeoCaching.  That's kind of like treasure hunting using a GPS unit.  Carl got the coordinates for 6 different geocaches in the area.  We found all six of them.  When you find one, you make a note in the provided notebook that you were there and the date.  If you take something out of the cache, you must place something else in and you record that too.  After we got home, Carl looked up one more and he and Amanda went looking for that one.  I went upstairs and took a nap.  I was exhausted and very sore!!  The next day we went to four more.  We took Amanda's mom and daughter with us.  We found three of the four.  The one we couldn't find we think was vandalized and removed.  It was a lot of fun.  The biggest problem was that Carl was so into getting to the next one, I had a hard time getting him to stop long enough for us to eat the picnic lunch we brought with us.  This was on Saturday.  He got upset with me because I was getting so crabby.  On Sunday, we stopped at a Wendy's for lunch.  We are home now, we got home about half an hour ago.  We're planning to do more geocaching here in Ohio.  I brought with me two "travel bugs" that we found in two different caches.  We took them only because we are going to place them in caches we find around here.  One of them came from Leeds, England.  Well, guess that's all for now.  House is going to be on soon and it's a new episode.  The first new episode since the writers strike.
