had 2 stroke 2002-03, causing seizures, have tried many different meds, am now on Lamictal, and Trileptal, plus have a VNS implant, between the three seizures have gone from 3-4-5 a day to maybe 1-2 a week
Treatments
- Klonopin Working / Worked
- I am taking this for Parkinson, and it is also working just as well to treat the seizures,
- Lamictal Working / Worked
- Same as Trileptal
- Trileptal Working / Worked
- Works good, took a while for side effects, dizziness, tired, but now just had to reschedule when to take it.
- Vagus nerve stimulation Working / Worked
- Works great, took some getting used to the cycling and hoarseness, when it first put in, now I don't even notice it. One sidefect that I have I don't if any else uses this, but for some reason lightning cycles it, my Nero, is checking into this as it shouldn't happen.
