I have been diagnosed with PCOS. My husband and I have been trying to have a baby for almost 3 years. I have gone thru 2 IUIs, 3 fresh IVF cycles and 1 frozen IVF cycle. I got pregnant with the first fresh cycle but I had a miscarriage at almost 7 weeks from a blighted ovum.

Treatments

Artificial Insemination Not Working

I had 2 IUIs. They didn't work for me.

Clomid Somewhat Helpful

It helped keep my cycle regular but it didn't help with pregnancy.

Estrogen Patch Working / Worked

I responded will to it. I was on it with my frozen cycle.

Follistim Working / Worked

I respond well to Follistim. I have used it all 3 times with my fresh cycles. I was very emotional and hormonal.

hCG (Human Chorionic Gonadotropin) Working / Worked

I have take ovudrel with each of my fresh cycles.

HSG (Hysterosalpingography) Working / Worked

My tubes were clear. This was one of the first treatments for me. I had a lot of cramping with it.

Lupron Working / Worked

It supresses my hormones well. I had major hot flashes and mood swings on it. I also lost the desire to be intimate.

Metformin Working / Worked

I had stomach issues in the beginning but I am fine now.

Ovulation Predictor Kit Not Working

They didn't work for me because I my cycles aren't regular.

Progesterone Working / Worked

I have been on both PIO and suppositories. With the PIO, I had lumps in my hips from the shots.
