About Me
I just found out that I have Lupus with SS. I only found this out because i am 25 weeks pregnant and found out that he has congenital heart block. That could have been a birth defect or and autoimmune disorder. Blood work comes back Lupus with sjogren's disease. We are keeping positive! Im looking for support for my pregnancy, my child, and myself.

Close Sjogren's Syndrome
I actually have Lupus with the antibodies for sjogen's. I only found this out because I am 25 weeks pregnant and my antibodies are attacking my baby's heart connective tissue so the left side doesn't know what the right side is doing. (congenital heart block) Im looking for support with my baby, my fears for myself in the future, and the fact that if my baby does get delivered, he will need a pacemaker his whole life.

Close Congenital Heart Disease
Type: OtherI am 25 weeks pregnant and found out about 2 weeks ago that my baby has complete a/v block of his heart. (congenital heart block) which means that each side beats at its own pace. This was caused my by lupus disorder which i've never even knew about until we did blood work to find it because of the baby's heart.
Treatments
- Prayer Working / Worked
- my baby is still alive and fighting!
- Prednisone Working / Worked
- Still working on my medrol dose pack then im on dexamethasone. The pack has been giving me heartburn, but on the plus side, the prednisone will help build lungs incase he has to be delivered early.
Open Lupus
My mother had Lupus but never had any flares since I was a kid. Now that I am pregnant, we found out my baby has a Heart Block. After blood test, we found out that I also have Lupus with the antibodies for sjogrens. I have never had a flare of lupus or anything that would make me think that I would have it my whole life. Guess Im looking for more info on lupus.
