It's not so annoying when all the stuff fits into one room. The rest of my stuff is in storage, so I've made moving about as painless as it can get. And I don't need to get that big of a place, at least for now. Much easier.

LOL so true! I know that whatever I choose isn't permanent. I can pick a place, stay 6 months or a year, and then try a different place. If I had to make a decision quickly, I would prioritize it and pick something. But I have time to think about it, so I will.

That was my first thought. Everything's so expensive, but it would be worth it to have the flexibility. I will check out a lot of Chicago neighborhoods and some of the nearby suburbs and see what my options are. I'm single after all. I can do this!

Yeah, lots of hug options here. Hmmm. That may be too many choices LOL! I'm settled temporarily. I'm living with my sister for a while till I can figure out where to go from here. She lives in the city and it's a lot to adapt to, since I'm a suburban guy, but I'm getting there. So many options, do I rent or buy, and where do I go?

Hey, another session that didn't go the way you expected, but there was plenty you learned from it. I really liked that letter you wrote beforehand. Good for you!

Not so much a culture shock, since we travel as a family all over the world. After years of bad British weather we need some sunshine. My wife is also very excited about moving there. I think her bright spirit will be happier there too. And my son, well, he will love it. The girls will love him too! Blond blue-eyed boy with a British accent! He will be getting way to much attention. We went to China and he had a swarm of young chinese girls around him all the time!
