get this, so I went to the cemetary today on lunch to take Ari some fresh flowers, I was with my friend who I work with, and there was another plot open meaning that another baby was moving in, so Ari's plant and her flower pot were moved aside, and there were wooden slabs with the dirt on her headstone, so I pick up the pot to see how they disconnected the chain from the pot to the tube in the ground....they cut it or snapped it off....they took my babies flower pot and ripped it off the chain, they could have just taken out the 10.00 flowers that were in the pot and turned the pot upside down in the hole, but no!!!! Instead they disconnected her 200.00 pot, that is my babies, now it's not attached and it could get stolen or it can get blow over and roll away......I was pissed, so before I freaked out on the cemetary people I want to see if maybe something happened and it broke...I called the memorial place(where we ordered everything) and the guy I talked to said that up at Wintergreen Gorge(that's the name of the cemetary) the kids who mow the lawns or dig the graves always just cut the chains or rip them out to the the pots aren't in there way. I was like well can I order another chain and he said he would go fix it but it's just going to happen again, so I told him that he didn't have to fix it and I'd call the cemetary....well, I was just so mad I haven't called yet, because I think I sound like a psycho! but seriously what right do they have and who the hell do they think they are....she is the only plot near the new grave that has a flower pot, they couldn't of just threw away the flowers and put the pot back in thr ground, I guess I am just shocked!!!! I am so going up there tonight and talking to the lady in the office. I am just so hurt and upset right now! I do't have my baby anymore, all I have it her grave to make pretty, I just can't believe they did that. I don't mean to be freaking out, but I am just shocked. Holy crap!!! I agree with Layla, some people have no respect. I can't believe this is an ongoing problem that no one seems to think should be addressed. That is vandalism, and it's not ok. I'm so sorry you have to deal with this hon, it's just awful. I hope they are good to you at the office tonight when you go in. . .you are not a psycho for feeling so hurt - let them know how this made you feel (just don't get arrested lol). xoxo

Wow. Talk about disrespect. Seeing as how you paid for the plot, the pot, and the chain, it's definitely vandalism. I would suggest you follow them home, but while funny it's childish and probably illegal. I would pursue it though as far as you can. I am so sorry you have to deal with this.

well when ever they mow the lawn they take everything off the ground and throw it in a dumpster, yes they pull up and throw it away. I drove over to where the workers are at 50 mph and almost hit them, pulled all the babies stuff out of the dumpster and drove away. hehe i was pissed

yikes babe - that blows. technically its a felony to deface a grave and that's what they did.
i finally found a headstone. im sooooo particular and of course it's in california, so i have to pay shipping to VA - one coast to another but its worth it. im going to post a journal to show what we're getting. its gonna cost almost 800$, so we're saving money for it right now.

i'm sorry Julia for what they did to Ari's site..i went up today to put flowers on Siena's site and watched as the backhoe went back and forth over the existing plaque's....it pissed me off i know they can't cover them all up but the thought of them running my babies plaque over when i'm not there....... plus last time i went they took Siena's prayer card from her vase and put it back in the hole and they throw away her little cat we left for her.....i just keep putting them back''what are they gonna do throw me out''....

I am so sorry dear.Our cememtary is the same. I don't put anything on there and leave it there for a long time or they will throw it away. My son put a teddy bear on the grave and after he left I had my parents get it and take it home. I knew that the cemetary people would ruin it.It is a shame that they don't have enough respect for other people.
