About Me
I am working on getting Supplemental Security Income. I am 21 and was dagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis when I was 16. Nothing seems to help my pain!! I am currently on Tramadol, Naproxen, and taking AZO Standard. Still nothing. STILL trying to figure out how to use the TENS unit! lol I've been married for 2 years, been with him for 4. I have 3 Shephard/Chow mixes, Max, Bailey, and Sari. They are my babies! I love them to death! and they're inside dogs. lol

ummm, I love watching TV, or Reading I love Charlaine Harris Books. She's an awesome writer! umm...as for TV, I watch MOONLIGHT!!! Alex O'Loughlin is awesome!! Ghost Whisperer, Grey's Anatomy, Army Wives, House, Bones, Medium, Eli Stone, Ghost hunters, Paranormal State, CSI, Supernatural, Smallville, NCIS, Days of our lives, Desperate Housewives, Dexter, Greek, Kyle XY, One Tree Hill, Smantha Who?, High School Confidential, According to Jim, American Idol, Men in Trees, Canterbury's Law, High School Reunion, Brothers and Sisters, Cold Case, Hannah Montana, and a few others. and I really love to watch movies. Talk to my friends and Family online, on Myspace, or My new friends on Daily Strength. This site is awesome! it's really helped me alot!! I'm so glad that I found it!

Hey Amy, I just went to my doctor today for scalding pain over the weekend. I had a bladder instillation a week or so ago, but still in pain. They look at you like you are NUTS because you still hurt. I know what you mean about how they look at you like you can't possibly be in that much pain. No one knows your pain but you so I am sending you a Big Hug from one pained sister to another!

Close Interstitial Cystitis (IC)
I'm 21 years old. I was diagnosed with Interstitial Cystitis when I was 16 through Cystoscopy and the distention surgery. I've had two six week treatments of bladder washes. 1 round befor surgery and 1 after. So far, nothing has helped me. I lost my incurance and am only able to see a G.P.
Treatments
- Bladder Distention Not Working
- did not work for me.
- Bladder Instillation Not Working
- did not work for me.
- Elmiron Not Working
- did not help me.
- Pyridium Working / Worked
- helps with the pain when I urinate, but does not help the spasms in my bladder when I urinate.
- Naproxen Too Soon to Tell
- TENS Considering
- Ordered one Off the internet, but I'm not sure how to work it. I tried it once and I shocked myself really bad, so I'm sure I got the settings wrong, and no one knows what to tell me!!
- Ultram Somewhat Helpful
- When it does help my pain goes from a 8 1/2 - 9 to 7 1/2ish. So, it does help some. This is April, So I've been on Tramadol for 5 months
- Elavil Too Soon to Tell
- Levsin Not Working
- didn't work for me. Did however help with my period pain...
